How do I price with a target margin?

Price = cost ÷ (1 − margin). For a 40% margin on $60 cost: 60 ÷ 0.6 = $100.

What is markdown pricing?

Reducing a price by a percentage — a 25% markdown on $80 gives a $60 sale price.
